"My membership forces me to take time out of the business and focus on the future. It really is highly valuable..."
- Andrew Moir, MD, London Calling Arts Ltd.

"The Academy has given me a boardroom of my own where there are no hidden agendas, just people who are working to help me. It has taught me skills, which I use all the time in my day-to-day life. It has given me direction out of a life filled with stress and dissatisfaction. Life's ups and downs now seem manageable and I look forward to each new endeavour."
"The Academy for Chief Executives offers a confidential forum where senior business leaders can discuss their worries and concerns and receive impartial, dispassionate and wholly practical advice from the collective wisdom and experience of fellow delegates."
- David Foley, Entrepreneurs Board Member
From 2008 to 2009, Birmingham City Council, Deloitte, and the Academy for Chief Executives ran the Enterprise City High Growth Programme (ECHGP), based on The Entrepreneurs Board model.
The following are comments from some of the participants on the programme:
"The ECHGP offered the opportunity to develop my business at a more advanced level. The courses and workshops were different...a different world actually! The programme was clearly geared to a more senior level aimed at growing the business and far more experienced coaches."
"I was a little skeptical at first but the programme looked professional. I became increasingly impressed with the knowledge that the speakers offered, the business expertise offered in the one-to-one coaching and the networking opportunities."
"The ECHG Programme has helped me to step back and put some strategies in place so that I now feel I actually own my business, rather than my business own me - if that makes sense!"
